Next Meeting: Hong Kong (9-11 February 2011)
The 10th UFO Annual Network Meeting will be held in Hong Kong from 9-11 February 2011. We checked the Chinese New Year (3 February 2011) prior to confirming the dates so as to avoid any inconvenience.
Hong Kong is the perfect location for our international meeting. It is a major hub for Asia and therefore extremely easy to fly to. In fact, flights are operated by roughly 90 airlines to over 150 cities across the globe.
In 2008, HKG was the second busiest airport in the world in terms of cargo traffic, handling 3.6 million tonnes of freight.
Hong Kong seaport is a major hub in the global supply chain with 450 container liner services per week to over 500 destinations. In 2008, the port set a record by handling 24.5 million TEUs, maintaining its status as one of the world's busiest ports.
Most major world markets are represented at UFO Annual Network Meetings. This provides an amazing opportunity for our privately owned member companies, saving them substantial time away from the office aswell as considerable travel expenses by being able to meet together in one place at the same time.
It is compulsory that all members attend our annual gatherings as the success of membership lies in meeting with their overseas partners in person in order to really discuss and secure business. View programme.
Our meeting will be held at the InterContinental Hong Kong ( read more), with its unique and convenient Kowloon waterfront location, which offers amazing views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.
Delegates will leave our meeting feeling motivated, stimulated and most importantly, they will be rewarded with a considerable increase in the volume of business with their fellow partners. All registered delegates gain access to our Meeting Manager, developed especially for UFO so that 30-minute business meetings can be arranged prior to arrival - a great opportunity to discuss current and potential business!
The Meeting Manager is open from 01 April 2010 and only registered and paid delegates are allowed access.
